Best Fitness Trackers Without a Subscription in 2026

alternative-whoop-sans-abonnement

A fitness tracker should help you understand your habits without creating another monthly bill. In 2026, there are more options than ever, but the important differences are not always obvious from a product page.

What makes a good no-subscription tracker?

Useful sensors

Look for meaningful measurements such as heart rate, sleep, blood oxygen and activity. The goal is not to collect the biggest number of metrics, but to collect information you can actually use.

Long battery life

A tracker is most useful when you can wear it consistently. Longer battery life means fewer interruptions, especially overnight.

A clear app

Raw numbers are difficult to act on. A good companion app should make trends easy to understand and help you compare days and weeks.

No artificial subscription wall

Always check which features remain available after the initial purchase. A low device price can become expensive if essential insights require a recurring fee.

Why screenless trackers are interesting

A screenless tracker removes the temptation to constantly check notifications, steps or numbers on your wrist. You wear the device, then open the app when you actually want to review your data.

Where OnPulse fits

OnPulse takes this screenless approach and combines it with sleep, heart-rate, blood oxygen, activity and recovery tracking. The core tracking experience does not require a subscription, and the battery offers 30+ days depending on use.

OnPulse is water resistant up to 10 metres, making it suitable for everyday wear within its stated limits.

Always follow the product instructions and do not use wearable measurements as a substitute for professional medical advice.
